t Hackers have been using different techniques/tricks to gain access to someone's facebook account. There are several ways these so called hackers can use to hack your facebook account and get all your information changed to theirs. Most of these hackers don't just change information only, some could even demand for nude pictures or perhaps airtime from your facebook friends. If you're reading this post, I believe you are about to learn some precautions on how you can prevent these hackers from hijacking your facebook account and not how to recover your hacked account.
Here are few precautions you can take to prevent your account from being hacked
1. Stop Clicking On Links: This is the major trick hackers use to get your account hacked. Most at times, these hackers will appear as someone who want to help you get some free stuffs online, like, how to make money online, free browsing, most will even tell you to click on the link to login to your facebok account so that you can chat for free. The link will be design like facebook but contains javascript that can send your facebook information (i.e username and password) to the hacker's email address. Incase you want to follow any link, don't provide your facebook login details in any demanding for it, "facebook is one time login" once you've login, it will never ask you to login again. Moreover, always check your address bar, if you want to login, if it's facebook official website, you gonna see h.facebook... Or m.facebook... Any stranger asking you to click on any link for free browsing or how to make money online or whatever, you may do so but don't provide your facebook details on any of the link demanding for it.
2. Always logout: This is another mean your facebook account might get hacked. Though this is not that common, because most people make use of their phone and gadgets to browse. However, incase you login to your facebook account using any other means different from your personal gadget, always remember to log out your facebook account.
3. Your Email Address: With your email address login information been disclosed to hackers, they can as well use such medium to hijack your facebook account. Though this is not applied to all email address but the one you link to your facebook account, once the hacker can get the login information, he will quickly login to your email and then go to facebook password recovery option on facebook website so that he can use your email address to reset your facebook password and thereby get your account hijacked from you.
4. Sharing of login details: Some hackers are very trickfull, they migut appear to you as helper, perhaps someone that want to offer you a certain service for free, some of them might even tell you they can do something for you that will make you to be earning money on facebook just only if you login. Once you accept these offers, they may said that you should provide your login details so that they can activate it for you. They have nothing, definitely nothing to offer you than hijacking your account. Incase, anyone appears to you to be so, tell them to create another account, or perhaps you should create another account yourself and share such new account's login details with them.
