How To Protect Your WhatsApp From Hackers

Measures To Secure Your Account

1. WhatsApp will never send you a pin or OTP for someone else to complete his/her registration. So,  in case of call pleading for this, kindly disregard it completely. 

2. Stop Joining Unknown groups. Groups are very interesting, however, that is the main point where hackers cam get your contact easily. Avoid unknown groups. 

3. Setup two-step-verification for your account. Two step verification is a very secure way to protect your account from hackers. Two step verification works in such a way that if mistakenly you give out the OTP you received, you don't have much worries as it will still serve as protection backup. 

=> Go to settings

=> Choose Account

=> Select Two-Step-Verification from the page that appear, setup a very strong password and recovery email should be the one you can log-in to its inbox in case you lost or forget the pin you setup. 

=> Hit Ok/save. 

4. In case someone wants offer help, never send them OTP unless it's someone you know personally and remember, someone you know personally account might also had been hacked unknowingly to you.
